Teacher Gives Birth While Dead, Then Returns to Life
Erica Nigrelli, a teacher in Texas, went into her co-worker’s classroom to say she didn’t feel well. She then collapsed after her heart stopped due to an undetected defect. She was 36 weeks pregnant.
Also in the school was Erica’s husband, Nathan. He called 911 upon seeing his wife on the floor.
“My wife is having a seizure. She’s on the floor,” Nathan told operators. “Oh my God! She’s pregnant and she’s foaming, unresponsive.”
Co-workers came to her aid and revived her long enough for the paramedics to rush her to the hospital. They stopped CPR so they could deliver the baby via post-mortem, emergency c-section.
One doctor said, “There were two lives that were hanging in the balance the whole time.”
But ultimately, little Elayna was born a healthy 9 pound baby and her mom’s heart defect has been corrected with a pacemaker. They two are alive, happy, and together now.

John Byrne, a homeless man in Dublin, was begging near a river with his pet rabbit, Barney, when a youth snatched him from his arms and threw him in the river. Gary Kearney, the offending animal hater, pleaded guilty and has been sentenced to 4 months in jail.

90 Year Old Woman Finds Deceased WWII Marine’s Diary Addressed to Her
Laura Mae Davis, a 90 year old woman, recently went to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans to see a display commemorating her high school sweetheart, Cpl. Thomas Jones, who was killed by a sniper in Japan. But what she found was incredible: Jones’ diary which included his last life request to give the diary to Davis.
“I didn’t have any idea there was a diary in there,” she said. She was brought to tears when she saw it.
Laura Mae said she and Jones were never engaged, but he gave her his class ring and they went to prom together. They met at Winslow High School in 1941.

Woman Gives Birth on the Sidewalk of a Hospital
Amy Beth Cavaretta told her friend and photographer, Emily Robinson, that she gave birth to her first daughter very quickly. But nothing would prepare either of them for the arrival of her second daughter.
It all started this past Thursday at Amy Beth’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida home with her husband, Joe. Once the contractions started, the two, along with Robinson, headed to the Boca Raton Regional Hospital. That’s when this happened:
This is probably the first time a woman was ever wheeled into a hospital already holding her baby. What an amazing story.

T-Rex Chases the Bridal Party at this Wedding
At the wedding of Katie Young and James Lowder, something truly terrifying happened. Well, at least for anyone who sees the photo without knowing the story.
Photographer Quinn Miller came up with the idea to include the Tyrannosaurus Rex after seeing it somewhere else. He told the wedding party to “Run right at the camera, away from the T-Rex, as passionately as you can. I need to see fear and actual running, not lame faces and power walking.”
And that’s exactly what they did, resulting in a very memorable wedding photo they can put on their mantles and ultimately use to scare future grandchildren.

Rescued Pregnant Cat Gives Birth to Adorable Kitties
In July of 2012, a couple found a starving kitty near their home. To get away from the extreme summer heat, she crouched beneath their cars. Immediately, the two decided to give her some food and water. They named her Sookie and made it their mission to get her back on her feet and give her a home.
Soon, they realized they didn’t JUST rescue a stray cat. Sookie was pregnant! Below is the heartwarming story of her rescue … and the birth of her kittens. This family is adorable.

Dying Police Dog Ends his Duty in Tearful Fashion
The heartbreaking scene below is of a the officers from the police department in Plymouth, MA, saying their final goodbyes and saluting their fellow officer, Kaiser. Kaiser is a K9 officer that has worked on the force for years; he watched the back of every officer he worked with and offered them nothing but love and unwavering loyalty.
Kaiser was recently diagnosed with severe kidney disease and then failure. After his diagnosis, his health declined very rapidly. The brave dog fought the disease as hard has he could, but the old officer finally needed to retire and then be finally laid to rest. He touched the life of every officer on the force. Kaiser loved being a police dog and he showed it. His final resting place will be in Angel View Pet Cemetery in Middleboro, MA.
